Who I Am

Over on the cricut MB, I've joined a challenge to do A Book Of me. This was actually a goal of mine for 2009 but I wasn't sure how to start. Add that to my naturally procrastinative (is that a word?) nature, and you know I hadn't done a thing. So I jumped at the chance to do this with clear directions and good examples for a LO each week. This is the first page and is a Title/Dedication page. I splurged on the nice Prima flowers and added all my favorite elements-butterflies, flowers, pink, swirls, and bling! I stamped on flourishes around 2 sides of my pic, then painstakingly add tiny micro gems to the swirls. I love the metal butterflies I found. Papers are Totally Girl by My Mind's Eye. Lots of soft pretty papers in that pack. So now that's done and it's on to my baby page. Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. Ohhh I love how you made the big scalloped circle...What a beautiful way to start, makes me wish I was doing it. (but I don' have any creativity at all - but I do copy quite well and I have no pictures of me except one baby picture and I don't even know what happen to that one. :-( I will anxiously be waiting to see more

  6. I just found your blog (I followed the link from the Cricut message board) and I have to say, I am in LOVE. Your work is a cut above the rest! Can I ask you a question? Well two actually:) I am a novice (started this whole crafting thing only a few months ago and got my first stamps this past week!)First of all those AMAZING layered flower cards....did you just print them up off your regular color printer on the card stock or do you have a special printer? I was BLOWN away by them.
Also- your gold and white embossing looks different then anything I have seen. Are you using the heat gun and the embossing powder with the stamps? If that is the affect you get that is the next step for me too! Your stamping is amazing! What inks do you like? Ok I am done thanks so much!
