Elegant teacup

The last card I did for my chemo buddy was just a simple quickie card that was rather blah (ya know those days when you are rushed for time and MUST create something but don't feel inspired?). Yeah. So I felt bad that it wasn't nicer and wanted the next one to show I put some effort and thought into it. I wanted it to be pretty and elegant, and am happy with how this one turned out. I have this background stamp that I just love, and I used it to emboss gold on part of the card, and white on the rest. I also gold embossed the teacup stamp then cut it out with my large scallop nestabilities. I cut another larger scallop out on gold foil paper. I used the threading water punch for a double scallop border, and added a few flat sided pearls to finish it off. Inside the sentiment says: Sending you a special blend of thoughts and wishes. I think she'll like this one. Thanks for taking a peek!
